Thesis Topic: An Ethical Analysis of Sweden’s Changing Immigration Policies
Sara Samir is a senior in the Carroll School of Management studying economics with a minor in theology. On campus, she is involved in the Mock Trial program, where she loves being both an attorney and a witness, and competing against other colleges. Thanks to the Gabelli Presidential Scholars Program, Sara had the opportunity to intern at a BC-founded healthcare analytics startup in Zurich, Switzerland, where she worked on a clinical trial matching service and used artificial intelligence to aid in drug discovery. Her favorite GPSP memory is taking the first class trip to Venice, Italy, and learning all about the art and food there. After graduation, Sara will be working for McKinsey & Company in Boston. Though she will miss BC very much, she is grateful for all the relationships and experiences it gave her!
