Thesis Topic: Automatic Speech Recognition for Spanish-English Code-Switching
Rachel Duquette is a senior from Camas, Washington, majoring in computer science and mathematics. In her spare time, she helps plan and run an annual Model United Nations conference, and she has studied abroad at King’s College London. Rachel has conducted research in data visualization, statistical cognitive modelling, and machine learning and genetic algorithms. Her favorite trip with the Gabelli Presidential Scholars Program was travelling to Venice, Italy, during her freshman year. In the fall, Rachel will be working as a data engineer at Facebook’s New York office.
