Thesis Topic: Exploring How Economic Policies May Be a Catalyst for Democratic Change in the Middle East
Liam Haffey is from Philadelphia and is a double major in economics and political science at Boston College. During his time here, he has been involved in the Fulton Leadership Society, Mock Trial, and The Gavel, a campus publication. He spent his language summer abroad in Spain, where he studied Spanish and ran with the bulls, and also spent a semester abroad in Dublin at Trinity College. After graduation, Liam will reside in New York City and work as an investment banking analyst at UBS. His favorite memory with the Gabelli Presidential Scholars Program was their trip abroad to Venice, because it solidified the cohesion and friendships of his class.
