Jacob Kelleher
The Real Estate Council Scholarship
Thesis Topic: Proof by David Auburn: An Educational Theatre Endeavor for the Actor and Audience
Jacob Kelleher is a senior in the Lynch School of Education and Human Development studying secondary education and mathematics. He endeavors to teach high school math and/or theatre and is currently hoping to do so come fall of 2021. In his spare time, he works extensively in the theatre department as a director, stage manager, and event technician. This year, Jacob was even asked by the theatre department to direct the play Proof by David Auburn, an undertaking which he ultimately adapted into his senior thesis. His favorite spot on campus is, of course, the Robsham Theatre Arts Center, and his favorite memory from the Gabelli Presidential Scholars Program is the trip they took to Venice. Jacob will miss Boston College when he graduates, but he is excited to begin his work as a professional educator.
