Thesis Topic: Originalism in American Legal Thought
Charles “Charlie” Powers is originally from Chicago and is concentrating in economics and finance in the Carroll School of Management, as well as pursuing a theology major. On campus, he contributes to The Heights student newspaper, and is involved with the Student Organization Funding Committee and Freshman League. His favorite BC memory is the time spent with his class at Shaw House as a part of the Summer Pulse Program. Studying in Mexico City in connection to the Gabelli Presidential Scholars Program’s sophomore language summer was a highlight as well. After graduation, he will be working at McKinsey & Company’s Boston office.
