Boston College Alumni – Chicago Chapter
Thank you for your bravery, patience, and perseverance as you continue to care for our loved ones during this challenging time. Thank you for the early mornings, the late nights, the moments of hardship, the moments of joy, and everything in between. We know that this is one of many moments when you will be called upon to rise and serve, harnessing your extraordinary skills to provide a level of comfort and reassurance that only YOU can give to people when they need it most. When we think of all that you are doing, we are reminded of a certain Eagle who also rose to the occasion in unfathomable circumstances to put others before himself, Welles Remy Crowther. In this moment and in each to come, we thank you and we hope you feel our immense gratitude for your ongoing care and sacrifice. Every night at 8:00 PM, Chicagoans unite to chant and flash our lights in gratitude and to honor your hard work. We hope that whenever your strength may need reinforcement, you will remember that we are right there standing behind you, cheering you on as our healthcare heroes. Today and for the days to come, we will wear our red bandannas proudly for you.
With respect and admiration,
