Thesis Topic: Political Game Theory in the Arab-Israeli Negotiations
Austin Kim is a senior in the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences majoring in political science. He plans to work as a paralegal before entering law school. In his spare time, he is a copy editor for the Al-Noor Middle Eastern Studies Journal. Austin is also proud to have contributed to two academic projects: Professor Jonathan Laurence’s publication, Coping with Defeat: Sunni Islam, Roman Catholicism, and the Modern State, and Professor Erik Owen’s seminar on Christianity in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. His fondest memory from the Gabelli Presidential Scholars Program is their trip to Venice, Italy, as it was his first time in Europe with close friends and mentors. He looks forward to starting his post-undergraduate career!
